Psychological, Neuropsychological and Psycho-educational Assessments

Our approach to assessment and diagnostic testing is holistic and tailored to each person’s unique situation.  We use the most widely respected testing measures and integrate results with many years of clinical experience to develop an evaluation that can be used to guide treatment planning, help determine what changes you need to make in your life, verify a diagnosis, identify accommodation status and other appropriate interventions.

Children and Adolescents: age 5 – 21

To identify specific academic problems that may be hindering your child’s success in school.  Testing can reveal specific deficits associated with common childhood conditions, including: ADHD, developmental disorders, neurological disorders, dyslexia, behavioral and emotional issues. We conduct a thorough assessment, with a test battery custom-designed to target the child’s area of difficulty.  With a comprehensive analysis of test results, Lori can pinpoint the source of your child’s academic problems and identify effective interventions that can be implemented at home and at school.  Our evaluations are frequently used in the development of Individual Education Plans (IEP) and to determine whether accommodations are needed for standardized testing such as ACT/SAT, GRE, GMAT and the LSAT.

Adults:  age 21 – 90

Testing for adults is conducted to facilitate diagnosis, assist in the development of effective therapeutic interventions, measure cognitive functioning and overall mental health, and to screen for neurological conditions.
